Pantone Just Created the Dreamiest Beach Wedding Palette for 2019

Think back to the moment your other half popped the life-changing question and the only right thing to say in the moment felt like one big emphatic “yes.”

If you’re planning on hosting your big day on the sand surrounded by palm trees and beach breezes, this might be another one of those moments.

Pantone, the color authority whose opinion on trending shades often shapes the fashion and design worlds, recently teamed up with WeddingWire to create a guide to this year’s ‘it’ wedding hues. Of the four palettes they put together, one in particular—called “Paradise Found"—is made for fun-loving couples who want to bring a taste of the tropics to their big day.

“Color palettes are a leading influence in helping couples identify their overall wedding theme and style, and really help tie the whole aesthetic together,” says Jeffra Trumpower, Creative Director at WeddingWire.

Inspired by a tropical getaway, the eight-color palette consists of bold and bright beachy hues, from deep turquoise to electric coral. Two neutrals, a deep tan and gray-tinged white, “are reminiscent of sandy beaches and white-capped waves.”

If you’re wondering what to do with this dynamite palette, WeddingWire created a styled shoot filled with ideas. As Trumpower says, your wedding hues should pepper virtually every aspect of your big day, from the flowers and invitations to even the food. “I like to tell couples not to be afraid to take risks when it comes to highlighting their wedding colors,” she says. “Pull them into their signature cocktails, tablescapes, wedding party attire, barware, and more!”

To temper the ultra-cheerful palette with some laid-back beach vibes, the stylists at WeddingWire incorporated a trick that works just as well at home: Bring on the natural texture. In a cocktail bar vignette, rattan furniture and a wall of greenery ground the space, while the vibrant shades—painted onto faux monstera leaves—serve more as playful pops.
