Palisades Tahoe Announces Plan For Skiing Through July 4th

California's Palisades Tahoe ski resort just announced the details of its summer skiing operations in a May 29th Instagram post.

Get all the deets below.

The Palisades side of the resort (previously called S*uaw Valley) is closed as of May 29th.

Continued operations will occur on the Alpine side of Palisades Tahoe until the planned July 4th closing date. During June and early July, Palisades Tahoe will be open on weekends (Friday thru Sunday) from 8 am to 2 pm, with access to the Summit, Roundhouse, and Treeline Cirque chairs.

Wondering what the 4th of July weekend will look like at Palisades Tahoe? During the season's final weekend, the resort will spin its chairs from June 30th until July 4th, with several musicians playing live in the evening, like legendary electronic artist Paul Oakenfold.

The long weekend, aka "Freedom Fest," will wrap up on, you guessed it, July 4th with a blues concert in The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Blues and skiing? Sounds like a party.
