The Palace Responds to Rumors Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Working With an Endorsement Company

From Cosmopolitan

  • Endorsement company Sheeraz Inc. is claiming that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are its clients.

  • Buckingham Palace denied Sheeraz's claim, calling it "categorically untrue."

IDK if you noticed, but ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from their senior royal duties, there seem to be new rumors about them every single day. Perhaps the most ridiculous of them all? The rumor that Meghan and Harry are working with a celebrity endorsement company called Sheeraz Inc., which boasts clients like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and Kim Kardashian.

On Instagram, Sheeraz claimed that Meghan and Harry are its new clients. "Sheeraz, Inc is now taking appearance and endorsement requests for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle @sussexroyal Sheeraz, Inc clients from Middle East, India, US and Asia can send us official offers and we will take them directly to their representatives," the Instagram read.

Now it's kinda obvious that this move seems rather...unlikely for Meghan and Harry, especially considering that they just moved to Canada to escape the British press and royal pressures. And for what it's worth, Buckingham Palace denied these claims and called them "categorically untrue," but the post is still live on Sheeraz's Insta.

FWIW, the company's founder Sheeraz Hasan denied the Palace's statement and claimed Meghan and Harry really are working with him. "Always remember Meghan Markle was an actress in Hollywood before becoming a Princess," he wrote on Twitter. "Now she is coming back to LA and of course I have been in contact with her inner team for brand and appearances deals as I have a global network of buyers for talent. When celebrities need global media or global brand opportunities, I always get the calls."

Looks like we'll just have to wait and see whether Sheeraz's claim ever pans out to anything. In the meantime, if you want to host a Meghan and Harry mall meet and greet and have $2 million cash to spare, this company is here for you!
