Padma Lakshmi's Daughter Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance

The star and her daughter Krishna stepped out for a night on the town.
Padma Lakshmi brought her 13-year-old daughter Krishna as her date for a night out this week, posing on the red carpet in matching black gowns.
The two walked the red carpet for the Endometriosis Foundation Of America's (EndoFound) 11th Annual Blossom Ball at Cipriani in New York City on Monday, March 20.

Lakshmi wore a long black halter gown with a flower in her hair, while Krishna rocked a strapless black dress with a feathered train. The 13-year-old paired the gown with black heels and an elegant updo.
The event was held to celebrate the work that's already been done to advocate for endometriosis awareness and aid, while also raising money so that EndoFound can continue its work.
Lakshmi shares Krishna with her ex-boyfriend, businessman Adam Dell, whom she was with from 2009 to 2021.
The 52-year-old model, activist, and TV host is quite private, so she doesn't talk or post about Krishna that often. Still, she made an exception for her daughter's 13-year-old birthday last summer.
For the occasion, Lakshmi posted a few photos from Krishna's bat mitzvah, writing, "This year, Littlehands got her nose pierced, took her braces off, and celebrated her Bat Mitzvah!! A big year for my baby girl. 😍."
In the photos, it looks like the 13-year-old is wearing the same gown that she wore to the event on Monday.
A few weeks ago, Lakshmi shared a snap of the two matching in their day-to-day fashion as well, writing about their adventure on Krishna's day off from school.
The two stunned in trendy jumpsuits and roller skates, with Lakshmi writing in the caption, "Twinning and winning 👯♀️ Littlehands had the day off of school so we took my new Christmas skates out for a spin… I guess we were effortless at some point but I don’t have evidence of that portion of the afternoon 😂."
Lakshmi continues to host Top Chef after many years; she is also the creator and host of Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi on Hulu.
