It's safe to say that 2023 might be Padma Lakshmi's year.

Exhibit A: she posed for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in May and was seriously fierce, and her show Taste the Nation is a total hit. Now, she’s taking time for some TLC–and a vacay photo shoot—with friends.

The 52-year-old author and television host shared a behind-the-scenes video of a photo shoot and she is sculpted AF.

In the video, Padma leans against an open doorway in the coolest striped short and tie-front shirt combo, accessorized with strong abs and sculpted legs. She’s clutching a large slice of lemon, as a man comes up behind her and squeezes juice onto the slice.

“It’s the little details that make me love them both,” she wrote in the caption. “We three have been friends for 25 years. I met Francesco on my first movie in Cuba. The best four months ever. And he quickly introduced me to Priscilla in Rome. We became fast friends. She’s shot me so many times I can’t even remember all the pics she has. They came out to Sri Lanka on my second movie to shoot the cover for my first cookbook. And we’ve been shooting and laughing and loving ever since.” So sweet!

People were so supportive in the comments. “You are so profoundly naturally beautiful and elegant,” one wrote, while another said, “Damnnnnn😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥😍.”

Padma stays strong to help her feel her best. She previously told E! that she basically lives at the gym. "I spend a lot of time working out,” she said. “I work out at least five or six days a week for one or two hours a day.”

The former Top Chef host told People that she’s all about cardio to keep her “fit and toned,” but she particularly loves boxing.

“I've been boxing for over 20 years on and off when my joints permit. I love boxing,” she said. “I mean, as much as boxing has helped me physically, it's done way more for me mentally. And I highly recommend it for anyone who's looking to feel more grounded, more focused and more in their body, as well as have more clarity.”

Padma told E! that she follows a “mostly plant-based diet” when she’s not traveling or filming.

She also shared with Women’s Health that she tries to split her plate into two halfs—50 percent is focused on fruits and veggies, and the other 50 percent is simple carbs, starch, and lean protein.

She also kicks off her day with a cup of “very strong” masala chai (she has up to 10 cups a day, btw), followed by a breakfast of a cup of cottage cheese with a toasted English muffin and almost a whole pint of blackberries or blueberries.

Lunch is usually leftovers from the night before. “We cook one fresh meal a day in our home, and that’s usually dinner,” she said. “I purposely cook extra so I will have enough for lunch.”

She’ll usually have a mid-afternoon snack of apples and peanut butter, followed by a dinner of lasagna, or lentils and rice in a sautéed vegetable curry with yogurt raita. (Is anyone else hungry?!)

Of course, she eats amazing-looking food from around the world, too, like Japanese noodles. Case in point:

And naturally, she's tried the best pizza as well. Here she is in Rome, living her best life:

Keep doing you, Padma!
