Padma Lakshmi knows how to bring the heat in the kitchen and in the gym. It's no secret that the former Top Chef host is strong all over, whether she's wearing a tied-up shirt and casual shorts or posing in a nipple-baring see-through coverup for Sports Illustrated.

The 53-year-old author and television host recently dropped a video of her lower body workout on Instagram that is all kinds of amazing. In the vid, she is stronger than ever as she does walking lunges across the gym in a black workout set.

“Every day is leg day- even Sunday!” she captioned the video. Of course, Padma’s followers gave her a ton of love in the comments. “Yes, thighs and glutes yes! 💪🏿,” wrote one follower. Another added, “Imagine seeing @padmalakshmi at the gym 😍🔥 I would faint..” My personal favorite: "You can’t spell legendary without leg day." True!

Now, to get into the juicy details of her workout: Padma starts with walking lunges, holding 10-pound dumbbells in each hand, to work her hamstrings and glutes.

Next, she moves over to the squat rack. Here, she does back split squats and lifts her back foot off the ground at the end for even more intensity.

And you should know that this type of intense routine is not out of the norm Padma. ICYDK, she likes to work out at least five times a week for 90 minutes, Padma told Women’s Health in 2020. She sometimes does strength training, like in this video, but she also loves jumping rope and doing Pilates, which helps with her back pain.

Food-wise, Padma eats mostly plant-based ingredients when she’s not filming her food shows, she told WH. And she tries to fill her plate with 50 percent fruits and vegetables, and 50 percent simple carbs, starch, and lean protein.

Padma also starts every morning with a strong masala chai, which she drinks about 7 to 10 cups of per day. For breakfast, she likes a cup of cottage cheese with an English muffin and blackberries.

Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before. Padma eats dinner with her daughter Krishna, and they typically have lasagna, or lentils and rice in a sautéed vegetable curry with yogurt raita. But they also have a little fun with their meals, too, which sometimes means eating “midnight nachos” once or twice a week.

Love it, Padma!
