We were approached by the talented film photographer, Katie Julia, to help design, curate, and create a new styled shoot concept for one of her photography students, who was moving to the US and wanting to rebrand and launch a new website at the same time. Sisters Georgia and Jessie at STUDIO SORORES (who only recently launched their new studios in London and The Cotswolds) wanted to create a more minimalist and modern look, whilst still encapsulating all of the femininity and romance of a wedding day.The colour palette consisted of crisp white with black, alongside warmer tones of yellows and oranges. They contrasted modern tableware with delicate lace and beautiful handmade pottery from the most talented of new ceramic designers local to their studio in North East London. Stationery was kept very minimal, with texture using leather and copper foiling to add depth and a little more luxe detail. They found the perfect venue in "Pebbles Beach House" - an adorable, little wood cabin on the coast in East Sussex - with interiors all white-washed and stripped back, and lots of gorgeous natural light. The bridal model wore a selection of detailed intricate dresses from Limor Rosen and Inbal Raviv, both stocked at one of their favourite UK bridal boutiques, Luella's Boudoir. Hair and makeup was kept very natural and elegant to match the setting and the tone of the shoot. The groom model contrasted this with a sharp DKNY suit, bringing a little city to the coast!
