P!nk garners praise from Kelly Clarkson for refreshing take on aging: 'I've never really depended on my looks'

P!nk continues to do things her own way, and fans are here for it.
The "Raise Your Glass" singer took to Twitter on Monday to share an open letter to herself about the aging process, encouraging herself to embrace it and fight back against any pressure or desire she feels around "altering" her face.
Letter to self; Dear Me, you’re getting older.I see lines.Especially when you smile.Your nose is getting bigger..You look(and feel) weird as you get used to this new reality.But your nose looks like your kids, and your face wrinkles where you laugh.And yeah you idiot..u smoked.

In that last tweet, the 40-year-old pop star was alluding to her famous onstage stunts, which often involve her performing acrobatic acts and swinging through the air while singing.
Fellow singer Kelly Clarkson was one of the people who publicly supported P!nk's tweeting spree, sharing that she relates to her thoughts around being a woman in the public eye who struggles with the pressure to always look young.

The "American Idol" alum wasn't the only one to send P!nk love after her series of tweets: Fans flooded the singer's mentions with messages of love and support, saying that she is "perfect in every way" the way she is.
You might not have depended on it, but you're beautiful nonetheless, Pink. Good thing it doesn't detract from your even more lovely personality. Only have to look at your reaction videos to people covering your songs and encouraging kids at your concerts to see your heart. :-)
