In two Grammy performances past, P!nk treated the audience to gravity-defying spectacles that involved aerial silks, pitch-perfect vocals, and seriously impressive acrobatics, but for her 60th Grammy Award performance of "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken," she surprised everyone by toning it way down and letting her voice take the lead.

Host James Corden even introduced P!nk by referencing her 2010 "Glitter in the Air" performance, where she debuted her flying routine complete with waterworks and acrobats abound, setting up the expectation that P!nk would dazzle the audience with more theatrics, but she instead appeared as simple as can be - in jeans and a tee shirt, showcasing nothing but her amazing vocal talent. She was joined onstage by a sign language interpreter who translated the powerful lyrics of "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" as the singer belted her timely girl-power anthem on the Grammy Stage.
