What is Amazon Prime Day?

Prime Day is one of Amazon's biggest sales of the entire year, sort of like Christmas in July. Amazon boasts tons of deals on everything from cute bathing suits to travel gadgets during their two-day event, so it's perfect for getting you through the mid-summer sale drought. Technically, a lot of the markdowns are available to anyone — but if you want to access every jaw-dropping sale price and that sweet, sweet two-day shipping, you do need to sign up to be a Prime member.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2023?

The sale kicked off on July 11 at 3 a.m. EDT, and will run through July 12. This means that you have less than two days to stock up on all of the items you've been wanting to snag. While the main sales have passed, there are a bunch of secret extended Prime Day sales that are still going on (keep scrolling to shop them!).

What's on sale on Prime Day?

To keep it simple, a LOT. Bigger brands and small businesses are dropping prices on a massive range of items for a limited time only, so it's worth checking your Amazon wishlists for surprise markdowns on anything you've been eyeing recently drops in price (cheapest Kindle prices ever, anyone?).
