A.P.C. and JW Anderson's Collab Is Brimming With Autumn Must-Haves
JW Anderson and A.P.C. have unveiled a collaboration inspired by Joseph Beuys's conceptual work I Like America and America Likes Me, which served as a powerful protest against the Vietnam War. The collection incorporates elements from the performance, such as the rough wool texture of a duffle coat reminiscent of felt and features graphic details inspired by Beuys' artistry on T-shirts and within some garment interiors.
The lineup offers two main styles: a fitted rocker aesthetic with black denim, a biker jacket and hand-painted cotton knits, as well as a relaxed hippie vibe featuring loose shapes, multicolored knitwear and distressed denim made using eco-friendly laser technology.
With a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, the collection uses the finest American jersey for T-shirts, showcases hand-knitted sweaters, presents a historic duffle coat with rope trim and an integrated whistle, introduces a Cornishware teapot and includes a rugged canvas tote bag with an oversized zipper closure.
