We are all about any opportunity to take our dogs on a fun outing with us, and over 200 dog owners agree with this because they all showed up to Los Angeles' Griffith Park on Sunday to watch Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie with their pups.

So many dogs and their owners attended that they actually set a Guinness World Record for "Most dogs attending a film screening."

The fun movie for these mongrels was hosted by Kevin Frazier from Entertainment Tonight in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society and Street Food Cinema. People magazine reports, "Brittany Thorn, executive director of the Best Friends Animal Society in L.A., added, “We are thrilled to have worked with the team at Paramount Pictures to break the [Guinness World Record] for most dogs at a film screening. I hope people reading about this milestone will be inspired to get out and adopt."

@ Grace hilariously comments, "omg this is so cute. Dogs supporting dogs!" Another user commented, 'This would be so cute but so distracting."

That is so true! How could anyone focus on watching a movie with over 200 adorable dogs around? I'd be too busy giving pets to even eat my popcorn!

The previous record set by dogs at a movie screening was in 2002 with 199 dogs in attendance. An official adjudicator for Guinness World Records, was on hand to make everything official during the screening for the record books.

The movie Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie opens this Friday.
