Like Jamie with Claire, Outlander fans fell utterly in love with Sam Heughan from his time as the Scotsman, so it's only fair that he finds something similar off-screen, too.

When he's not busy filming season 7 of the Starz show or promoting his new book Waypoints, it seems like the actor has been occupying his free time with someone special. His love life piqued fans' attention in earlier this year in March when Sam, 41, cozied up with Monika Clarke, 30. Photos captured the two kissing while sitting at a table as well as walking together as he put his arm around her shoulder.

So, who exactly is Sam's rumored girlfriend? As clued in from her Instagram bio, Monika is an Australian model who's signed to Wilhelmina Models. The dark-haired beauty also has her own NYC-based jewelry company, My Verite.

Notoriously reserved about his personal life, the Men in Kilts host has yet to speak publicly about it. But, that didn't stop Drew Barrymore from asking about this relationship status when he appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show in August. When the daytime TV show star mentioned that he's known to prioritize his work life, Sam set the record straight.

"I never said that — I don't think," he said on the show. "The job is so all-encompassing, and we spend so much time on set and at work. But I'm open to something. I'm not sure what I'm saying I'm open for, but I'm open."

His latest comments seem far different from what he told the Philippine Daily Inquirer in early 2020. The Spy Who Dumped Me actor admitted that juggling multiple projects meant he found it hard to find time to date.

“My whole career, not just Outlander, but as an actor, I have always put that first," he said. "It’s hard when you travel a lot. My priority has been my career, so that’s where I am at the moment. But I am sure at some point, I will get knocked off my feet, then I’m screwed.”

Perhaps just that has happened ... Either way, we're certainly happy he's making time for himself!
