We finally have a premiere date for the second half of Outlander season seven!
The supersized seventh season will return this November on Starz, after the first eight episodes aired last summer. To announce the premiere window, Starz also shared behind-the-scenes shots during production:
There will be eight more episodes in season 7, and then a final, ten-episode season of Outlander is currently filming. (Also currently in production is an Outlander prequel, Blood of My Blood, that will tell the love stories of Jamie's parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, and Claire's parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.)
"For nearly a decade Outlander has won the hearts of audiences worldwide and we’re pleased to bring Claire and Jamie’s epic love story to a proper conclusion," Kathryn Busby, the President of Original Programming for STARZ said in a statement. "But before we close this chapter there is plenty of their passionate story to tell over the course of 26 new episodes and even more to explore of this dynamic world and its origin story." (The 26 new episodes refer to the 16 for season seven, eight of which will air in part two, and ten more for season eight.)
No specific November 2024 date has been announced yet for Outlander season 7, part 2, but we'll be sure to update this as soon as we learn more.
