'Outlander' Fans Say They “Can’t Wait” After Sam Heughan Drops Exciting Personal News

Sam Heughan fans, it looks like the actor is expanding his business empire one beverage at a time.

Fans know the 43-year-old actor for his work on Outlander and his autobiographical writing in his books. But Sam is also busy with his beverage company Sassenach Spirits, which launched in the U.S. back in 2020. While the business continues to garner acclaim for the scotch whiskey and tequila it sells, the Love Again star recently announced on Instagram that he's brewing a new drink for folks to taste. Posing for a photo in a suit with a bottle of gin in hand, he also shared that it will be available for consumers just in time for a summer cocktail.

"Red Carpet ready with @sassenachspirits Wild Scottish Gin 💚," he captioned the post on May 6. "100% wild Scottish ingredients from my home town … June 15th in the 🇺🇸 x."

Because Sam's products are wildly popular amongst his social media followers, they immediately raised a glass to the actor's latest announcement. What's more, they took to the comments to share how excited they were to grab their own.

"Can’t wait to try it! 🙌🏼," one person wrote on Instagram. "Looks fabulous! 💚 Can’t wait to try it in June! 👏👏👏," a different user exclaimed. "@samheughan I’ll take a bottle of each [please] 😍," another follower added.

Sam's latest news is another accolade to add to Sassenach Spirits' ever growing list of achievements. Back in July 2022, he shared on Instagram that the company's scotch whiskey won Gold at the 2022 International Spirits Challenge. This news came just a few months after The Spy Who Dumped Me alum revealed that the brand won a Double Gold medal at the 2021 New York World Wine and Spirits Competition.

But his beverage venture isn't the only thing he has going on lately. Aside from the launch of his new movie, the first half of Outlander season 7 will debut on June 16. What's more, he disclosed that his upcoming third book Clanlands in New Zealand: Kilts, Kiwis and an Adventure Down Under will hit book shelves on November 7.
