‘Outlander’ Fans Can’t Hold Back Their Excitement About Sam Heughan’s ‘Fantastic’ News

Folks, Sam Heughan just added another title to his ever-growing literary empire.

Just a few months out from the Outlander season 7 premiere, the actor surprised fans with a special announcement on April 23. He hosted an Instagram Live with fellow Outlander cast member and Men in Kilts co-star Graham McTavish, during which the duo revealed the upcoming release of their newest book. Titled Clanlands in New Zealand: Kilts, Kiwis and an Adventure Down Under, their latest project is set to hit shelves later this fall on November 7.What's more, both the print and audiobook versions are already available for people to pre-order.

"The cat is out the bag! 📚🐱 (Not really sure why it was in there?!)," he wrote after posting the chat to his grid. "'Clanlands - In New Zealand' is now available for preorder! ... Link in stories!"

Between a new season of Outlander airing soon and the upcoming release of his rom-com Love Again, Sam's latest news left readers ecstatic for him. They proceeded to congratulate him and Graham in the comments section, sharing how excited they were for the book.

"Thanks, Sam and Graham, for giving us more to look forward to! We love you! ❤️👏👏👏," one person wrote on Instagram. "Fantastic and congratulations 🥳 Love the cover and can't wait to have a read 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ," a different user agreed. "Congrats guys!! Looking forward to reading!!" another follower exclaimed.

So, what exactly will Clanlands in New Zealand be about? According to the book's official website, it follows them as they explore "a country that Graham calls home, and that Sam has longed to visit." The press release further shares that the two will "immerse themselves" in the history, food and landscapes found throughout New Zealand ... all from the confines of their camper van.

Fans may also know that this isn't the only title Sam and Graham have written together. They previously collaborated on Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other in 2020 and The Clanlands Almanac: Seasonal Stories from Scotland in 2021. Clanlands in New Zealand will mark the third title in the series.

Now, should this turn into a pre-cursor for Men in Kilts season 2, viewers will be equally thrilled by the prospect.
