The 'Outer Banks' Szn 3 Trailer is (Finally!) HereNetflix

After what seems like a literal lifetime, the Outer Banks season 3 trailer is finally here ahead of its February 23rd premiere date.

After a second season that left everyone's jaw on the floor, judging from the trailer, it looks like it's going to stay there. The upcoming 10-episode season begins with the Pogues and their new enemy-turned-friend, Cleo on a deserted island dubbed "Poguelandia." The tropical vacation doesn't last for long as the crew is soon back on the run for a brand-new treasure—an idol of El Dorado.

Even with violent treasure-hunting enemies on their tails and a shocking reunion between Sarah Cameron and her dad (who faked his own death to escape law enforcement), the trailer gave a sneak peek into a budding romance that we've all been rooting for since last season between Kiara and JJ.

When Netflix released their trailer on social media platforms, fans had quite the reaction. "Excuse me while I go scream in my pillow," said one person. "I've come to the conclusion that I’m not gonna survive watching the season," and "I’m not leaving my room once this comes out" said others.

But, halfway through the new trailer, fans were hit with one of the biggest plot spoilers: John B's "missing" father is actually alive and well! After we smashed the rewind button to make sure we weren't hallucinating, we ran right back to the comment section where other OBX fans left what they really thought about what's to come in season 3 like:

  • "Kinda sad they showed John B meeting his father again, it would've been way more emotional if the viewers saw it while watching the show"

  • "IM SCARED AND EXCITED AND SCARED"

  • "if john b and sarah break up i riot"

  • "I’ve came to the conclusion that I’m not gonna survive watching the season"
