Outdoor Fitness Court coming to north Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Through a partnership between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, Wichita Park & Recreation, and the National Fitness Campaign, north Wichita is getting an outdoor Fitness Court.

The Fitness Court will be at Pat Garcia Veterans Memorial Park, 2640 N. Wellington Place.

It was developed to expand access to high-quality workouts and create equitable access to exercise for communities throughout Kansas.

The Fitness Court lets people use their own body weight at seven stations to complete a workout.

The City of Wichita says the Fitness Court was designed for people 14 and older and with all abilities, allowing people to move at their own pace.
