Outdoor Cat Using Doorbell To Be Let Inside Is a Stroke of Genius

We all know that cats march to the beat of their own drums, which is especially true with outdoor cats. They're on their own schedule, coming and going as they please. But this gets frustrating as you let them in and out of the house because it never ends.

TikTok user @retroryan89's cat used to paw at the door to come back inside. The only problem with that is you can't always hear the little paw. The solution this TikToker came up with though is beyond brilliant. Check it out!

O.M.G. This might be the greatest thing we've seen in a long time, which is why it's no surprise this clip has over 1.3 million views. It just makes so much sense because there's no way you could hear your cat pawing at the door. We're just mad we haven't thought of this sooner. LOL!

"My cat would abuse the heck of that," commented @pugnacious_piscean. HA! We'd guess that every single cat would abuse their doorbell. The creator even responded by saying, "Oh he does! If I don’t answer it right away he’ll keep ringing it till I do answer." Sounds like your typical cat!

A lot of people will say it's best to keep a cat indoors as it is the safest, but there are plenty of reasons why people have outdoor cats. Sometimes stray or feral cats will find a "home" that they stick around outdoors. You can still take care of these cats by feeding them and leaving out water. You can even set up an outdoor cat house for them. This is one of the most important things you can do to protect them.
