  • Outdaughtered fans showered Adam Busby with support after his solemn Instagram post from last Saturday.

  • In the post, Adam thanked his family and friends for being there when he and his wife Danielle "are under attack."

  • The TLC family has had to deal with lots of parent shaming over the years.

Adam Busby's Instagram from last Saturday has Outdaughtered fans very concerned.

In the post, his wife Danielle Busby is pictured with her head bowed alongside the couple's friends and family members. While the photo already has a solemn tone to it, Adam's caption is especially serious.

"Being in the public eye isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, so we are grateful for our support system of friends and family that aren’t afraid to go to battle for us and lift us up when we are under attack," he wrote.

Immediately after seeing the post, many of the Busbys' fans commented that they were thinking of the TLC family and sending their positive thoughts. Adam took the time to reply to a few of his fans and commenters, who were asking questions about the caption. When one fan suggested that Adam was referring to online trolls, the Outdaughtered star replied, "it goes a little deeper than that. On a much higher level."

Right now, it's unclear what prompted Adam's post. Unfortunately though, we do know that online parent shaming is something that the Busbys have had to deal with a lot. Earlier this month, Adam had to shut down one Instagram troll who suggested that he and Danielle take too many vacations away from daughters Olivia Marie, Ava Lane, Hazel Grace, Parker Kate, Riley Paige, and Blayke Louise.

Besides that incident, Danielle previously told GoodHousekeeping.com that they often get criticized for going out on weekly date nights without their daughters.

"It's something we have done literally since we had Blayke and we get hit in a negative way which is so strange," Danielle explained. "Just because we have our kids doesn't mean that we should not go out and have time together."

She continued: "When we're posting on social media, there's so much hate and negativity out there, I want to show people what is doable and encourage through fitness and motivation ... I think that people want to rant on all the negative and you never see a lot of positive ... it's very rare that people talk about how good something is."

All we can say is we hope whatever Danielle and Adam are going through gets resolved quickly.
