The actor's new style got plenty of attention.

Morgan Freeman debuted a new hairstyle at the 2023 Oscars.

The actor, who was recently spotted sporting long dreadlocks, showed he's since changed his unrecognizable 'do for one that's just as unexpected.

While stepping on stage with Margot Robbie to celebrate 100 years of Warner Bros., Freeman showed off his newly bald dome.

His fans were surprised by the bold look, reacting on social media. Many of the tweets remarked the big change from long locks to no hair at all.

Another thing that caught Oscar viewers' eye about Freeman's look was his black glove, worn on his left hand. The actor experienced a car accident in 2008, which still affects him today. It's a compression glove used to keep blood circulation on his hand.

"It's the fibromyalgia. Up and down the arm. That's where it gets so bad. Excruciating," he explained in an interview with Esquire in 2012.

It's not the first time he's worn a glove for an awards show. He was pictured sporting one at the 2018 SAG Awards as well. He also donned it at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony.

Typically, he opts for a regular tan-colored compression glove, but he matched his satin Oscars glove to his black tux.

Freeman stars in the Zach Braff-helmed drama A Good Person, hitting theaters on March 24. In the film, Freeman portrays Daniel, a grieving father who forms an unexpected bond with Allison (Florence Pugh), the woman who caused his daughter's deadly accident.

His co-star Pugh was also a presenter at the Oscars.
