One thing is certain—Orlando Bloom is as versatile an actor as they come. The British movie star, who discovered his love for acting in childhood after he was introduced to theater, has quite the resume—he played the legendary elf Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises, appeared on-screen as a blacksmith apprentice-slash-pirate Will in Pirates of the Caribbean, took on the role of a soldier in both The Outpost and Black Hawk Down and recently starred in Gran Turismo as a marketing exec, which might just be one of his tamer roles.

In 2005, Bloom starred alongside Kirsten Dunst in Elizabethtown, a sweet rom-com directed by Cameron Crowe. In it, Bloom plays Drew Baylor, a recently fired shoe designer down on his luck, who meets a bright and cheery flight attendant named Claire while en route to his hometown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and begins a new romance. Next up is New York, I Love You, a vibrant, fast-moving flick comprised of short disconnected stories starring a long list of Hollywood A-listers like Natalie Portman, Ethan Hawke, Bradley Cooper, Blake Lively, and more. 13. Troy (2004)

Bloom was a great part of 2023's Gran Turismo as Danny Moore, a marketing executive who pitched Nissan the idea of creating the GT Academy as part of its motorsport division. Based on the video game of the same name but with a unique twist, Gran Turismo depicts the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the British pro racer driver who became the youngest winner of the GT Academy competition in 2011 when he was just a teen.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was the titanic franchise's first installment and introduced Bloom to the world as Will Turner.
