Orlando Bloom Reveals the Cool Trait His Daughter Daisy Inherited From Him & Not From Wife Katy Perry

She may make bold moves on stage, but Katy Perry doesn’t have that rugged, adventurous spirit that her fiancé Orlando Bloom does. Their daughter Daisy Dove does, though! The Pirates of the Caribbean alum opened up about his 3-year-old daughter’s reckless personality, and it sounds like she keeps her parents on their toes!
“Daisy is only 3 1/2, but I see, I see a little of the screw loose qualities,” Bloom told E! News. “I remember her climbing stairs and thinking, ‘Wow, she’s preparing for something.’ Because as soon as she could walk she learns to climb.”

Bloom gave a little more details about his daughter in an interview with PEOPLE. “Daisy’s been climbing stairs since she’s a baby. So I feel like she’s going to be the one for that,” the 47-year-old said. “Maybe, we’ll see. But I think hopefully they’ll be able to look back and be like, ‘Yeah, he did that.'” There’s no doubt she’ll be impressed!
The Lord of the Rings star admitted in his interview with E! News that Daisy did not get those adrenaline-junkie tendencies from her mom. “I did say, ‘Do you want to jump out of the plane?’” Bloom recalled asking Perry when he was filming Orlando Bloom: To The Edge, which had him jumping out of a plane among other extreme sports. “She goes, ‘No, no way.’ She takes very calculated risks, which I respect and is something that I can learn from. She loves life, but I think is not really interested in terrifying herself. Whereas I’m quite comfortable in discomfort in some ways and I think that’s something that was apparent through the show.”
As for his son Flynn, 13, who Bloom shares with ex Miranda Kerr? He tends to lean toward the more cautious side as well. “My son came out to the jump site on the wingsuit episode,” Bloom told E! “And he was like, ‘Dad, you’re crazy. No way.’ He doesn’t have the same clock ticking which I respect as well because he takes calculated risks. And I think that’s something at a young age I admire.”
When he isn’t busy filming, Bloom enjoys spending time with his two kids. In an interview with PEOPLE last month, Bloom shared, “Family time is, for me, a meal together. Sitting down at a table. It is going out on a walk or going on an adventure. It’s games, it’s play. It’s connection.” He added, “It’s holding hands and hugging. And telling people you love them a lot.”
