Orlando Bloom Got a Tattoo of His Son's Name — but There's a Problem

It feels like it's the season of the celebrity tattoo reveal, with everyone from Demi Lovato to Presley Gerber and Amber Rose debuting new ink. Orlando Bloom is the latest star to add to his collection, but he may be the only one with a tiny mistake in his ink. According to Entertainment Tonight, Bloom got his son's name tattooed on his arm, but the tattoo happens to be in Morse code and there's a missing dot. When your tattoo is just dot and dashes, it's understandable, but Bloom's artist has already said that he's ready to fix it.

"New #tattoo can you guess who?" Bloom captioned a black-and-white snapshot of his new tattoo on Instagram. When fans inquired about the design, which looks like a smattering of dots and lines alongside a sequence of seemingly random numbers, he was more than happy to explain. "It's Flynn in MORSE CODE and his dob [date of birth] and time," he commented.

That explanation may have made the mistake a little more evident to anyone fluent in Morse code.

"If the Morse code is supposed to spell out Flynn then there is a mistake," a commenter wrote. The tattoo reads "Frynn." An extra dot before the "Y" is all it'll take to rectify the tiny typo. Bloom shares his son Flynn with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. He was born in 2011.
