I'm very intentional about my bodycare routine—and this applies in and out of the shower. I love luxurious body washes, creams, and lotions and have tried my fair share of all three. Right now, my below-the-neck skincare routine consists of Origins' new Plantfusion line. The collection includes a Conditioning Hand and Body Wash, a Hydrating Body Souffle, and a Softening Hand and Body Lotion.

Origins' products have long been a staple in my skincare routine (the Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask and Super Spot Remover are two of my favorites) for a few reasons. The brand takes a conscious approach to development—opting for plant-derived formulas, prioritizing sustainability through thoughtful packaging design, and participating in tree-planting initiatives. And, of course, the Plantfusion range embodies these principles wholly. Ahead, learn more about the collection and read my review of the launch.

Origins

As mentioned, there's a Conditioning Hand and Body Wash, a Hydrating Body Souffle, and a Softening Hand and Body Lotion. The former is a multipurpose cleanser formulated to be non-drying and non-stripping. It is infused with 94% naturally derived ingredients like plant-derived glycerin (which helps gently wash away impurities).

The Hydrating Body Souffle is an ultra-rich body cream that helps boost your skin's radiance, lock in moisture, and strengthen your skin barrier. On the ingredient front, the formula is 95% naturally derived. Shea butter and apricot oil work together to deeply hydrate and nourish your skin. The Hydrating Body Souffle also contains salicylic acid—derived from white willow tree bark and wintergreen leaves—to help exfoliate and smooth your skin. In fact, 96% of women saw improved texture after just one use during clinical testing.

Last but not least, the Softening Hand and Body Lotion. The lightweight body moisturizer is formulated with 99% naturally derived ingredients. Hyaluronic acid and apricot oil are present to ensure your skin is wrapped in hydration. And like the Hydrating Body Souffle, it also contains naturally derived salicylic acid to aid in exfoliation and reveal softer, smoother skin over time. During clinical testing, 96% of women saw an improvement in texture, while 92% noticed improved barrier strength after using it.

My Review

I love multi-purpose products, so the Conditioning Hand and Body Wash was right up my alley. When I used it on my body and hands, I was impressed with how luxurious and soothing the gel cleanser felt on my skin. Once you massage it onto your damp skin, it creates such a silky, rich lather. And once I rinsed it off, my skin felt refreshed and soft.

During the day, I typically use lightweight body products, so the Softening Hand and Body Lotion is perfect. The creamy formula absorbs into my skin effortlessly. And even though it's a thinner consistency, it packs in a ton of moisture. After each use, my perpetually dry skin remains thoroughly hydrated, soft, and radiant. At night, I prefer to reach for richer creams, and using the Hydrating Body Souffle has been a treat. The thick, whipped cream makes my skin feel buttery smooth and intensely moisturized.

Across all of the products, I especially loved the scent. The collection's signature Plantfusion fragrance is comprised of vibrant notes like jasmine, cardamom, cedar, and grapefruit. The blend is so calming—which is exactly what I want from my bodycare products. Overall, the trio of Plantfusion products has revamped my bodycare routine, and I'm excited to keep slathering my skin in each one.
