There are a bunch of new snacks on the way, thanks to a partnership between Mondelēz International, Inc., the National Basketball Association, and USA Basketball. To kick off the collaboration, NBA Dynasty Oreo Cookies are hitting stores later this month.
Mondelēz has a slew of brands under its umbrellas, including Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, Nutter Butter, belVita, Ritz Crackers, Trident, and Sour Patch Kids — and all of them will get new products as part of the deal. As we mentioned, Oreo will be first up.
The limited-edition NBA Dynasty Oreo Cookies are a basketball-inspired take on the original chocolate cookies with creme filling. The pack features six logo embossments on the cookies after some of the biggest dynasties in NBA history, including the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and San Antonio Spurs.

Through this partnership, we will create moments across our brand portfolio that unite all NBA enthusiasts — from teammates and coaches, to fans and families,” Rachel Lawson, associate director scale consumer and retail engagement, Mondelēz International, said in a press release.
You’ll be able to get the NBA cookies, complete with special packaging featuring the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, in March 2021 at retailers nationwide.
