Oreo’s New Easter Cookies Are Filled With Pastel Green Creme and Feature Festive Designs

The countdown to Easter is on, which means stores are slowly filling its shelves with seasonal treats. Nabisco is on top of it with Oreo cookies that will guarantee a hopping good bite on April 17. Prepare to ditch the original Oreos for a more festive variety.
The Oreo Easter Hop Cookies have arrived for a limited time. The sweet consist of the chocolate sandwich cookies you know and love, but instead of being filled with the classic white creme, these are stuffed with pastel green creme. While the green filling doesn’t have a special flavor with it, you can’t deny that they’re perfect for the season. Plus, the cookies are printed with five Easter designs, including bunnies, eggs, and prints you’d find on a decorated egg.
You can find the limited-edition Easter-themed Oreos wherever you typically buy the brand, including Target. The 12.2-ounce package includes about 24 cookies for under $4. They’re a great and easy snack to put out while you dye eggs, or simply stick a package in your kid’s (or your own) Easter basket for a bite that lasts longer than 5 seconds after opening it.
Nabisco has consistently released the Oreo Spring pack, which consists of chocolate cookies and yellow creme, however, the brand’s Easter variety tends to be unpredictable. In 2017, there was the pink Peeps flavor, followed by purple Peeps cookies in 2018, and egg-shaped cookies in 2019. In 2020, there were egg-shaped cookies in a pastel pink color. One thing they all have in common is that they were on point for the holiday, so we’re happy to see that the 2022 offering is as well.
