First they’re sour, then they’re … cookies?

Oreo is teaming up with a popular candy brand to create its latest flavor: Sour Patch Kids Oreos.

On April 24, the snack brand announced the gummy-inspired treats. The cookies may look like classic golden Oreos but they actually have a sour flavor and “colorful inclusions,” per a release. Inside the cookie sandwich, the creme filling has more sour sugar flavors to add to the Sour Patch Kids theme.

An online presale for the special cookies opens up on April 24 but the Nabisco treat will hit grocery shelves on May 6. Fans can also visit Oreo’s website on May 2 to buy Sour Patch Kids Oreo merchandise.

A whole line of apparel is available alongside the limited-time cookie collab. The lineup includes bucket hats, crossbody bags, hair clips, socks and a sweatsuit, all of which are decked out with images of the cookies and candy.

Oreo isn't the only brand coming out with bright new flavors for spring. Dr Pepper recently dropped the new Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut, available in regular and zero sugar versions, starting May 1.

The limited-time soda flavor is described as having “layers of tropical coconut flavor and a delicious, creamy finish” and is the “only coconut-cream-flavored dark soda on the market,” according to a press release.

Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut will be available in a 12-pack of 12 oz. cans or in 20 oz. bottles through the end of July.
