Oprah Stole the Show in Atelier Versace at the Wrinkle in Time Premiere
Oprah Winfrey has made headlines over the past few weeks for her 60 Minutes roundtable interview (and the subsequent Tweets), plus her surprise meeting with Tiffany Haddish on Ellen DeGeneres’s show. Last night in Los Angeles, all eyes remained on the television queen at Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time premiere. Winfrey kept things sleek and sophisticated in a midnight blue calf-grazing gown that was custom made by Atelier Versace. Winfrey also wore a piece from the Italian house at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, where she received the Cecil B. DeMille Award, though last night’s look treaded more in the Dynasty-era.
Embellishments at the shoulders and waist defined Winfrey’s shape, while the navy blue base provided a clean palette. Equally dazzling stilettos grounded the look, while gilt trim glasses and a Tyler Ellis marbled plexi clutch added polish and shine.
