Her most recent pick, which was announced today on Instagram, will have anyone taking a good look at their life, and how everything can change from one day to the next. Her latest selection is The Many Lives of Mama Love: A Memoir of Lying, Stealing, Writing, and Healing by Lara Love Hardin.

“I know you’re gonna enjoy it, I know you’re gonna appreciate it,” Winfrey said in her announcement.

Explaining the plot of the memoir, Winfrey summarized some major moments. “She was a suburban cul-de-sac mom, ended up being an opioid addict turned heroin addict, started stealing from her neighbors, ended up in jail, comes out, writes this incredible book about redemption, about joy, about hope, about claiming yourself and what you rightly deserve,” the TV personality detailed.

In an interview with CBS Mornings alongside Hardin, Winfrey talked about what made this book so special. “I was turned down by that idea; of somebody who has spent their whole life pretending to be somebody else [and] now writes a book, which is the truth of themselves,” Winfrey explained.
