When Adele won seven Grammy awards for her album 21, Oprah tweeted that 2012 was Adele's year. Now, with anticipation for her fourth album building, 2021 is shaping up to be another year of Adele owning playlists around the world—and Oprah is set to ask her all about the stories behind the music.

On November 14, Oprah and Adele will sit down for an intimate conversation about how the singer's life informed the themes of her forthcoming album, 30. "It was my ride or die through the most turbulent period of my life," Adele has said of the album.

Adele will also touch on her life since divorcing Simon Konecki, (and potentially her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul), her wellness journey, and raising her 9-year-old son, Angelo. The two-hour special, entitled Adele One Night Only, will also feature performances of songs off the new album.

While Adele has recently opened up in two Vogue profiles and a freewheeling Instagram live, the occasion marks Adele's first televised interview. The interview will take place in the rose garden overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Oprah's Montecito home (which also happens to be where Gayle's daughter Kirby got married). On Twitter, Oprah jokingly interacted with a fan who said she wished she could watch the interview unfold live.

Here's what else you need to know about the special—and how to watch.

The concert special will air on Tuesday, November 19.

You can tune into Adele One Night Only on Sunday, November 14 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. ET, and 8 to 10 p.m. PT. It'll be your chance to hear songs off Adele's new album five days before it's released. If "Easy on Me," the first single of 30, is any indication of the entire album, then this will be an emotional and moving set of music. The songs off 30 will be confessional yet still universal—like all of the best Adele tunes.
