The Oprah Approved Waffle Towels To Shop ASAP

There are plenty of household items I could have foreseen I would become obsessed with. An espresso machine? Absolutely. The perfect, whisper silent humidifier? Yes indeed. Hand towels? Not so much. But I am, indeed, obsessed with my hand towels. They're Cozy Earth Waffle Hand Towels and I think I'll always have them in my bathroom and powder room.

Let me just start by saying that I used to feel strongly that waffle towels as a category were kind of meh. I always felt that they weren't that absorbent and, in spite of the texture, ended up feeling kind of flimsy. But a few months ago I bought quite a few household items from CozyEarth, the hand towels among them, and honestly now I wish I had gotten the whole bathroom set. First and foremost, these towels are soft and dual sided—when you wash your hands and dry them off with them, they don't get drenched and matted. And they also dry quickly.

But perhaps even better, after months of use and many, many, many turns through the washing machine they haven't warped or lost their shape. They are just a springy and plush as they were when I first pulled them out of the box. And did I mention? These very waffle towels were on Oprah's list of Favorite Things this year. If that isn't a reason to splurge for the wash cloths, full-size towels, and yes, the hand towels too, I don't know what is.
