Opening Ceremony RTW Fall 2021

For their fall 2021 collection, Opening Ceremony designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon found inspiration in the moment they’re living in. “The home has always been a source of inspiration, now more than ever.…So, while it was the pandemic, we found little things and details that really were exciting,” said Lim.

The look: Perfect for that stylish downtown boy/girl.

Quote of note: We needed to think about, OK, let’s take these fitted sheets; let’s take this mattress cover; let’s take these things that are just around us in the home.…So that was really one of the starting points for the collection, which was super fun.”

Key looks: A sequined and glitter silver-looking top that is made from a jersey material; an orange padded cropped jacket; the corduroy house slippers, which are an ode to the West Coast.

The takeaway: Opening Ceremony stayed true to themselves with vibrant colors, fun silhouettes and shapes.
