We’ve all heard the saying you are what you eat, but you are what you wear? Well, that’s a sentiment that Salma Hayek just majorly took to heart when wearing an off-the-shoulder leather midi dress that was as red-hot as she is.

Over the weekend, the actress shared a roundup of OOTD snaps in the vibrant number after attending the Kering 10th anniversary dinner in Paris. Calling on the season's trendiest color, Hayek’s bright red Alexander McQueen leather dress featured a form-fitting silhouette, an off-the-shoulder folded neckline, and a mid-calf length. She paired the sexy dress with coordinating red-tinted drop earrings (also from the fashion house) along with a smattering of silver rings, and she rounded out the evening ensemble with glitzy silver heels courtesy of Jennifer Chamandi.

As for glam, Salma pulled her brunette hair up into a sleek top knot and added feathered lashes and a pinky-mauve lip to complete the look.

“♥️Paris- Kering 10th anniversary dinner @kering_official,” she captioned the dump before calling out members of her hair and makeup team, Nao Kawakami and Wendy Rowe, along with her stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray.

While the A-lister’s post may have come live from Paris, it was shared just days before she honored her home country of Mexico on its Independence Day. On Saturday, Hayek posted yet another Instagram post containing a compilation of photos and videos of her exploring Mexico and singing alongside members of a local band.

“🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 Feliz Dia de la Independencia! 💚🤍♥️#VivaMexico!” she wrote before adding the same message in English. “Happy Independence Day to #Mexico!”
