Over two years after Stanley Tucci wooed the internet with his mesmerizing Negroni tutorial, the actor and filmmaker has charmed us in once again. This time around, Tucci's viral moment involved his effortlessly sophisticated choice of birthday cake.
On November 11, the TASTE: My Life Through Food author celebrated his 62nd birthday with an intimate gathering among family and friends, and instead of a birthday cake brimming with buttercream, Tucci was presented with a wheel of cheese.
"Is it a Pecorino?" Tucci asked his wife after being serenaded with "Happy Birthday." After being informed that it was "an old goat" cheese, he jokingly said, "That makes sense."
"My kind of cake," Tucci wrote in the caption to the Instagram video. His post was met with birthday wishes from actress Julianne Moore and Ina Garten.
As the author of several books about food and the host of CNN's Searching For Italy, the actor has introduced us to his world of food, wine, and travel on numerous occasions.
