It's an objective fact: it's been a while since a proper Jackass movie was released. Some might even say too long. But despite 12 years passing since the franchise's last release—Jackass 3D, back in 2010—its cast remains as game as ever for the exact hilarious, cringe-worthy, and sometimes disgusting hijinx that makes fans laugh until their sides hurt. Enter Jackass Forever, which after a lengthy Covid-related delay is now finally out in the world.

The movie brings Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Wee Man, and the rest of the gang back for fans to see how they may have changed in some ways over the years, but still are all about the fun at heart. Plus, the movie's trailer teases special appearances by Eric Andre—whose comedy was obviously influenced by Jackass—and a few other friends.

It's rare that there's a movie event that pretty much everyone can rally around and agree is great. But with Jackass Forever, every viewer knows exactly what they're in for—and by all indications, the movie delivers: it currently has a 90% from critics and a 96% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

When will Jackass Forever be available to stream?

We don't know for sure. But the industry standard for theater-exclusive runs has generally settled in at around 45-days, with recent films like Eternals landing on its exclusive streaming home (Disney+) just about two months after its release. Just recently, Guillermo Del Toro's Nightmare Alley landed on both Hulu and HBO Max less than two months after its theatrical release back in December 2021.

Which is to say: if you're still not feeling like going to the theater for whatever reason, you'll probably be able to see the fun of Jackass Forever from the comfort of your own home before too long. With Paramount distributing the film, it's likely that it could end up on Paramount+ at that time, available for rent (on Amazon, Google Play, etc.), or both.
