Just about every day of the year is its own mini holiday when occasions like National Pizza Day and National Pet Day exist. And while it's not always easy to keep up with these titles, they come with some benefits: they give companies an excuse to majorly discount items and services.

One example of a national holiday coming in handy is with National Streaming Day and Hulu. While the official holiday was May 20, Hulu launched a major discount on subscriptions happening all week long. Until May 27, you can snag a Hulu subscription for just $2 per month, compared to its normal $7.99 price tag. You also have the option of adding Disney+ to the deal for an additional $2 per month, making the full bundle cheaper than a regular-priced Hulu subscription on its own.

For fans of Hulu offerings like Abbott Elementary, Only Murders in the Building and The Handmaid's Tale, this Streaming Day deal is not to be slept on. You'll be able to lock the price in for three full months, giving you just enough time to stream the release of The Bear season 2 on June 22.

Unsure whether or not it's time to say "yes, chef" to all that Hulu has to offer? The service also has a free trial so you can test the waters. The downside: If you chose to cash in on the trial, you'll have to pay the regular $7.90 per month once the trial ends.

If you decide to sweeten the deal by adding on Disney+, ESPN+ and HBO, you get access to hit series like House of the Dragon, Succession and Yellowjackets, alongside hundreds of Pixar, Marvel and Disney movies. Remember that May 27 (that's this Saturday, people!) is the last day to jump on these major savings, so start your $2 per month subscription ASAP and let the streaming begin.
