‘Only Expo of its kind on the Gulf Coast’ coming to Mobile Convention Center

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Outdoor enthusiasts will soon be able to explore “the best in lifestyle gear, accessories, and information, alongside the ecological initiatives to keep the Gulf Coast wild,” as EcoWild Outdoor Expo comes to Mobile.

According to a press release, EcoWild, “the only Expo of its kind on the Gulf Coast,” is coming to the Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center from May 10-12.

Here are the full dates and times, according to the release:

  • Friday, May 10: Noon to 6 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 11: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Sunday, May 12: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Expo attendees can enjoy exploring what outdoor activity and lifestyle vendors have to offer, sitting in on educational sessions and guest talks, and checking out a variety of family-friendly attractions.

Attractions at the expo include:

  • Kids’ fishing

  • Hunters’ education

  • 26-foot rock wall

  • Axe throwing

  • Raptor shows

  • Dog demonstrations

  • STEM nature challenges

  • Archery

  • Honey harvesting

  • Saltwater touch tanks

  • Walkthrough of a butterfly house

  • Giant alligator slide

  • BB-gun range

  • Confiscated wild game trailer

  • Campground

  • Appearance from the Auburn Eagle

General admission tickets for ages 9 and up are priced at $15, and Military discount tickets are priced at $12, according to the ticket website.
