While we all attempt to come to terms with this new normal brought on by the restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic, a number of fashion houses are seeking to entertain and inspire their customers by celebrating creativity in crisis.

Dior has partnered with a number of Paris' most talented dancers in order to "awaken the senses lulled by lockdown", who are offering lessons and workshops online.

"This slice of escapism provides a compelling taste of the hypnotic discipline treasured by Monsieur Dior - who also notably costumed the Roland Petit ballet, 'Treize Danses'," explained a Dior spokesperson. "Take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to feel and respond to the music, how to improvise, and how to perfect some key positions."

In the video above, watch as Eleonora Abbagnato, a Paris Opera Ballet principal dancer and director of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma ballet company, leads a short 18-minute dance class, suitable for any level.
