This week's episode of The Amazing Race 36 had the teams traveling to the first stop of their South American tour: Guatapé, Colombia. And as the blistering heat turned to pouring rain, some pairs were able to use it a cleanse to move up in the rankings. But for others, it proved to be a literal slippery slope, with one team's indecision at the Detour sent their game up in flames.

Who was eliminated on The Amazing Race 36 tonight?
Anthony Smith and Bailey Smith – Twin brothers
As twins, Anthony and Bailey Smith were the most alike out of anyone on the cast. Unfortunately, that meant they had some of the same weaknesses, including navigation, which put them in the back of the pack coming into this leg. That came into play again during the Detour, as the two lamented the difficulty of both decisions so much they switched back and forth an astounding three times. And though they tried their best to catch up once they stuck with an option, it was all in vain.
Which teams finished at the top tonight?
After finishing close to the top in the first two legs, Ricky Rotandi and César Aldrete had a perfect day in Colombia, finally getting their first-place victory. Surprisingly, Amber Craven and Vinny Cagungun continued their ascendance up the pack, as Vinny's picking strategy in the Roadblock gave them second. And, for the third time, Derek and Shelisa Williams finished in third.
Which teams finished at the bottom tonight?
Michelle and Sean Clark started this leg in last place, and fell further behind when they also decided to switch Detours. And though Sean had to face his paralyzing fear of heights getting to the Roadblock, the two prevailed to live another day. Finishing above them were Angie and Danny Butler, whose race sputtered out like their water taxi from the beginning, and were slowed down by Angie at the Roadblock.
