HURON, Ohio (WJW) — Even though it’s a creek, we still need to skip the boat and drive there for this week’s One Tank Trip!

Old Woman Creek is an intriguing State Nature Preserve in Huron.

Ohio State trustees to vote on tuition increases for upcoming fall

It’s also a National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) and is one of Ohio’s best remaining examples of a natural estuary.

The estuary is a field laboratory where scientists study this naturally functioning system and a place where visitors learn about fascinating estuarine ecology in a natural setting.
