There is a special restaurant in Chicago that’s likely to hold a strong appeal for fans of the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce romance.

All Too Well, a sandwich shop located a couple of blocks west of Lincoln Park, recently added a new menu item named after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. The restaurant introduced the Catching Kelce on social media last fall.

The sandwich features “shaved ribeye steak on our Tuscan grill pressed bread with sharpe aged cheddar, garlic aioli and house made parsley salad aka tabouleh,” All Too Well wrote in an October 2023 Instagram post. Restaurant owner Mitchell Aboujamra said in the post that football is “a Taylor Swift topic I can fully get behind.”

Aboujamra explained on his restaurant’s website that he enjoys naming sandwiches after people, movies and places that are “special” to him. The online menu also provides a bit more information about why Aboujamra chose to name one of his sandwiches after Kelce.

“Oh you know, just leaning into the TS life,” the menu description quipped. "But to be honest…I adore the two of them. So why the hell not lean into it and name this one after Travis.”

Swifties may have noticed that the restaurant has another apparent tie to the Swift-Kelce romance: its name. The “Cruel Summer” singer first released her song “All Too Well” on her 2012 album Red. She rereleased the fan-favorite song in 2021 as part of Red (Taylor’s Version).

Another page on the restaurant’s website said that its name was “inspired” by Swift’s song but that it is “not an Easter egg,” a reference to the hidden messages that Swift famously leaves for her fans. Aboujamra noted that the song title was an apt way of describing his family's history of owning delis, butcher shops and markets in the area, with the family’s ownership of one market dating back to the 1920s.

While Aboujamra wrote that he hopes Swift “knows we exist” and thinks the “Anti-Hero” songstress is “great,” he does not identify as a Swiftie.

“No! this is not a Taylor Swift restaurant lol!” he shared on the website.
