'One Piece Film Red' Reveals Navy and World Government Characters
Following the release of a second trailer last month, One Piece: Film Red now reveals the Navy and World Government character designs for the highly-anticipated film. From the Navy is the eccentric Base Commander Momonga and admirals Issho, Borsalino and Sakazuki. Blueno and Kalifa from covert assassination group CB9 will also make an appearance alongside the Five Elders, the top known figures in the World Government.
The first two trailers tease the appearance of legendary pirate Shanks and his daughter Uta, the most beloved singer in the world, and the series' main protagonist Luffy will also make an appearance. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see the character designs for Shanks' crew.
One Piece Film: RED, the franchise’s 15th film, will premiere in Japan on August 6, 2022, with international releases to follow. The movie will be directly supervised by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda and directed by Goro Taniguchi (Mobile Suit Gundam, Code Geass).
Elsewhere in entertainment, Blood and Honey puts a gruesome spin on Winnie the Pooh's story.
