One of Meghan Markle's 'Suits' Costars Warned Her About Being With Prince Harry

  • Meghan Markle's Suits co-star Wendell Pierce says that he talked to her about becoming a royal before she left the show.

  • He warned Meghan that her "world is going to be forever changed."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been opening up more and more about the effect that the British tabloids' stories about them have on their lives. The royal couple is suing the British press, and Harry released a statement saying, "I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been."

Meg and Harry also talked about the press' treatment of them in an ITV documentary released last week, and Meghan shared that one of her friends even warned her about the tabloids before she married Harry. Meghan said, "when I first met my now-husband, my friends were really happy because I’m so happy, but my British friends said to me, ‘I’m sure he’s great but you shouldn’t do it because the British tabloids will destroy your life.'"

And it turns out that that's actually not the only warning that Meghan got before marrying Harry and joining the royal fam. According to The Guardian, Meghan's co-star Wendell Pierce, who played her dad Robert Zane on the show, also talked to Meghan about what would happen after she married Harry. He shared, "When we had the final scenes I said: 'Listen, your world is going to be forever changed, and no matter where you are, you can always know that you have a friend in me.'"

And while Wendell says that he hasn't spoked with Meghan since she ended her time on Suits, Meghan and Harry are reportedly considering moving to Canada (where the show films), so maybe a reunion with her cast mates is in Meg's future!
