If you've ever become impatient with the delivery time and process that comes along with ordering custom furniture, a new offering from One Kings Lane might be for you.

The luxury home furnishings brand just released Palette by One Kings Lane, a new online feature that allows shoppers to customize a selection of upholstered furniture pieces. In collaboration with Cloth & Company, a print-on-demand furniture brand, One Kings Lane customers can purchase headboards, chairs, settees, benches, ottomans, and pillows, and then personalize them with an array of color choices and eight patterns, ranging from a traditional chinoiserie motif to modern stripes. Finishing touches, including nailhead trim and leg colors, can also be selected.

Beyond customization, another highlight of One Kings Lane's new offering is the short lead time (items are delivered in just three weeks) and complimentary shipping.

“The decision to build this platform has been inspired by our customers’ desire to bring their unique personal style point of view into their homes," said Debbie Propst, president of One Kings Lane. "Given all of the feedback we’ve heard from our customers, it was a natural step for us to develop Palette as a way to make upholstery customization easier and more accessible than ever before. We know that consumers truly value the ability to participate in the designing of their own products, and we are thrilled to now be able to expand audiences with this unique new level of customization.”

In addition to partnering with Cloth & Company, One Kings Lane leveraged the expertise of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.’s Innovations Group to develop the user-friendly 3D product visualization technology.

To experience Palette, customers can visit onekingslane.com and bedbathandbeyond.com. It will also be on hand at the One Kings Lane’s Soho flagship location, which opens later this month. The store will feature an interactive Palette workstation and shoppers will also have the chance to browse physical samples.
