One of the Dominican Republic’s Most Expensive Homes Hits the Market for $45 Million

If you’ve got $45 million lying around, you could scoop up what’s potentially the most expensive home in the Dominican Republic. The palatial estate is known as Villa Farallon and if the hefty asking price is met, it would break the residential sales record for the Caribbean country.

The move-in ready property sits on nearly two acres of oceanfront land within the five-star Casa de Campo resort. According to the listing, the 37,598-square-foot spread was custom-built and took at least years and 130 workers to complete. The seller is even upping the ante and throwing in four vehicles: two golf carts, a Range Rover, and a Pathfinder. And that’s in addition to all the furniture, artwork, flatware, appliances, and even an electric baby grand piano.

A villa within the Dominican Republic’s Casa de Campo resort just listed for $45 million.

Set atop a cliff, the immense residence spans two levels and was crafted from poured concrete and steel. Inside, you’ll find marble walls, natural stone flooring, oak wood doors, and hurricane-proof windows throughout. Between the main house and a separate guest dwelling, there are 10 bedroom suites, plus three bedrooms reserved for staff, and a total of 16 bathrooms.

The turnkey home comes fully furnished and includes the seller’s Range Rover.

Highlights include a movie theater, a sound-proof nightclub complete with a DJ booth and VIP area, plus a giant terrace made from 12,000 pounds of stone that was sourced in Canada. Of course, if you’re lucky enough to snag the 4,000-square-foot primary suite, the sprawling complex is unmatched, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private gym, an ocean-facing office, and a spa with a sauna and hot tub.

Outside, the grounds offer just as many perks, like a billiards area and an infinity-edge swimming pool that uses a solar energy heating system. Even cooler, the pool is decked out with LED lights, so you can take a dip as the nighttime kicks in.

Sergio Llach, Jolanthe Suchy, and Vanesa Ibanez of Dominican Republic Sotheby’s International Realty hold the listing together.
