On this checklist, you'll find a roast turkey as the main dish, along with delicious mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and of course, dressing.

Thanksgiving Day Checklist
Morning
Stuff the thyme butter under the turkey skin and bring the turkey to room temperature.
Make the cranberry sauce.
Trim the spinach.
Prepare the stuffing (do not bake).
Toast the pecans.
Wash and spin-dry the frisée and lettuce.
Make the dressing.
Make the cake.
2 Hours Before Dinner
Roast the turkey.
1 Hour Before Dinner
Bake the stuffing.
Bake the sweet potatoes (do not broil).
30 Minutes Before Dinner
Make the mashed potatoes.
Make the gravy.
Just Before Dinner
Make the spinach.
Top the sweet potatoes with the cheese and broil.
Toss the salad.
