So when she chatted with Allure about what she always packs in her carry-on, well, we couldn’t not listen. Speaking with the publication back in 2014, Meghan admitted, “The one thing that I cannot live without when I’m traveling is a small container of tea tree oil. It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all. It’s inexpensive, it’s small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time.”

She’s not wrong. Tea tree oil is a cult favorite among the beauty set for its purifying properties, meaning it’s great for targeting breakouts. Dab a small amount directly onto the acne spot/mosquito bite/cut using either your finger or a cotton swab and let the tea tree oil do its thing.
