January Jones has a fresh cut for summer, and she’s not afraid to show it off. The Mad Men alum casually flaunted her new ‘do on Instagram while posing in a swimsuit like it was no biggie.

The photo is simple: It features January smiling broadly as she models the chic, black, string swimsuit, putting her toned abs, sculpted legs, and strong arms on full display in the process. She’s literally glowing and looks super happy.

The 45-year-old star kept the caption simple, writing“🖤” and people totally bugged out. “What’s was Don thinking,” one said, referencing her on-screen husband from Mad Men, Don Draper. “Ma'am please. I fell to my knees in the checkout line at Walmart," said another.

BTW, January modeled pretty much an exact replica of that swimsuit (in white) back in April, and she’s clearly feeling this lookas she should.

January is definitely super strong right now, but she hasn’t always been into fitness. She previously told Shape that she resisted working out for a long time. “My dad was a trainer, so in my 20s and 30s, I didn’t work out, because he was always pushing my sisters, my mom, and me to exercise. We would rebel and not do it,” she said. “It’s not that I wasn’t active. As kids, my two sisters were runners, I played tennis, and we all swam. But on a regular basis I wouldn’t work out, ever.”

January eventually stumbled into Lagree Pilates and got hooked. “I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now,” she said. “I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle. I’ve gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better naked.”

January said the practice keeps her motivated. “The music is good and there’s always a different routine, so it doesn’t get boring,” she said. “There are 10 of us in the class, and I like having women on both sides of me to push me. When I did the private Pilates lessons a couple of years ago, I just saw myself getting lazy with it because there wasn’t that drive for competition. For me, that’s what’s motivating."

Also in the mix? Yoga. Check her out doing a picture-perfect handstand back in 2021:

Foodwise, January told OK that she likes to start her day with celery juice. “I’ve seen amazing results in my energy, digestion, and skin and how I sleep,” she said. “I have that in the morning, then I take my vitamins and drink coffee."

After that, she’ll usually have a banana and a MacroBar. Lunch might be salad or soup, and dinner tends to be salmon or pasta with lots of vegetables. “No antibiotics or hormones in meats is really important to me, and so is eating sustainable fish,” she said. “I don’t want to be that annoying person in the restaurant who’s like, ‘Where’s the fish from?’ But I do it anyway.”

But January told Shape that she’s not overly strict with her diet. “If I want something — steak, a bagel—I’ll eat it,” she said. “There’s no diet or strict set of rules.”

Love the swimsuit (and the haircut), January!
