Olympic Legend Shaun White Gives Back as Investor in Iconic Summer Snowboard Camp

After rising to exceptional fame and rockstar-dom that went beyond anything snowboarding had to offer, it feels so, so good to see Shaun White giving back to the community of snowboarding. During his career, Shaun White was the best of the best. He competed in many Olympics in not only snowboarding but skateboarding as well. He truly catapulted in world wide fame and became a house hold name, more so than any snowboarder has ever done before or since then. He hangs out with A grade celebrities and has A grade celebrity money (we assume). But Shaun is not forgetting his roots! By becoming an investor in the iconic summer snowboard camp High Cascade that has given so many pros and people in the industry their start, Shaun White is really showing that he cares so much about snowboarding. And we are so grateful for it!

Shaun White, a three-time Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding and the record holder for the most X Games gold medals, has joined forces with Josh Harris and David Blitzer to strategically invest in We Are Camp. This company serves as the parent entity for Windells and High Cascade and is based in Mt. Hood, Oregon. We Are Camp is a network of action sports camps tailored for both youth and adults, attracting participants globally across snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, and mountain biking. For White, We Are Camp holds a special place as he, along with his family, attended the camp almost every summer. He attributes his development to the camp's coaching, facilities, and staff. In celebration of this collaboration, White will make a return to Mt. Hood to participate in the High Cascade Snowboard Camp on June 16, 2024.
